Q: Are there instructions included with my order od gsd ear .supports so placement will be proper and the result will be erect ears and not airplane wing ears!? What would be incorrect placement int he vertical position and is there a right and left one? I would like the ears to be as vertical as possible and I am purchasing ostomy glue from a surgical supply. Thank you Barb
Asked by:  - 3/11/2014 (Submit an answer)
A: There are no instructions that come with the ear forms but they are marked R and L. There is a cut our area that will fit the large cartilage piece of the puppies ears that help the forms stand vertical.

Q: My German Shepherd had surgery on his left ear and had his ear sewn to his head for two weeks while healing. Would the dog ear supports help his ear go back up, it is floppy down. Before it was strong and erect, he is 7 years old?
Asked by:  - 3/24/2014 (Submit an answer)
A: At 7 years of age, i do not think it would help, but you would be best to consult your vet on this. this is more for helping to form cartilage in young dogs and puppies.
